About Us
Actuarial Society of Hong Kong

The Actuarial Society of Hong Kong (ASHK) is the professional body for actuaries in Hong Kong, established in 1968. ASHK sets the professional standards for the actuarial profession under Hong Kong's Insurance Ordinance and has a long track record of convening the profession on issues of public significance — including hosting the 2024 Asian Actuarial Conference, which drew over 1,000 delegates from across the region. ASHK's recent research confirmed Hong Kong as one of the world's longest-living city, providing the evidence base and impetus for this conference. www.actuaries.org.hk
